A long sword (katana 刀) signed with an orikaeshi-mei (折返し銘) of Kanemoto (兼元). Recently it came back from a full finish polishing restoration by a professional Japanese sword polisher.

The style of the outline of the tempered edge (hamon 刃文) is sanbonsugi (三本杉) it is characteristic of the Kanemoto School of the Mino Tradition.
